Our story
Big Hearts Bulgaria was created out of a simple belief: no animal should be left to suffer alone on the streets. What started as small acts of help has grown into a deeper commitment to rescue, care for, and protect dogs and cats in need.

Building a Safe Haven
Right now, many of the dogs and cats we rescue are cared for in loving foster homes, where they can begin to recover and feel safe. These families make our work possible, and we are deeply grateful for their support.
At the same time, we are working towards something bigger. By building our own shelter, we will be able to help more animals, provide consistent care, and respond more quickly to urgent situations.
